Building the Future: Announcing ADMF’s Planned Projects for 2026

At the Ayiwa Danquah Memorial Foundation (ADMF), our mission has always been to uplift, support, and pave the way for the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and creators. In honor of the beautiful legacy of our founder, Mrs. Elizabeth Mavis Anna Afia Ayiwa Danquah Adomako, we are thrilled to announce a comprehensive suite of life-changing initiatives.

Beginning tentatively in March 2026, these planned projects are designed to empower students, support our hardworking educators, and modernize our school environments.

Here is a detailed look at what we have in store for the coming year!

1. Scholarships and Bursaries: Opening Doors to Education

We firmly believe that financial limitations should never stand in the way of a child’s dreams. We are launching a robust financial assistance program to ensure quality education is accessible to all:

  • Financial Aid for Underprivileged Students: To ease the burden on families, parents can apply for scholarships and bursaries. Approval will be granted to financially challenged guardians upon completion of an application accompanied by proof of income (threshold to be determined).
  • Merit-Based Awards: We will recognize and celebrate gifted students who excel academically or show exceptional dedication in extracurricular activities.

2. Cultivating Talent: Extracurricular Projects

Education goes far beyond the four walls of a classroom. ADMF is committed to fostering students’ unique talents, passions, and life skills. We will be funding and supporting various extracurricular activities, including:

  • The Arts (music, drama, and visual arts)
  • Sports Programs
  • Community Service Projects

3. Upgrading Facilities at Asokwa and Buokrom

To provide a safe, engaging, and modern environment for both learning and play, we are planning major facility upgrades across our two campuses:

  • Libraries & Computer Labs: Upgrading both locations with the latest technology to boost digital literacy.
  • Brand New Science Laboratory: Establishing a state-of-the-art science lab to give students hands-on scientific experience and support their future professional aspirations in STEM.
  • Playgrounds & Classrooms: Improving recreational spaces and classrooms to ensure they are safe, vibrant, and interactive.

4. Connecting Our Campuses: A Brand New School Bus

Mobility is key to a seamless educational experience. ADMF plans to upgrade the school bus to a better, safer model.

  • Free Shuttle Service: This bus will provide a shuttle service running between the Asokwa and Buokrom campuses.
  • Zero Cost: This service will be completely free of charge for both students and educators, making inter-campus activities, sports, and daily travel incredibly convenient.

5. Supporting Our Pillars: Financial Aid for Educators

Our teachers and staff are the backbone of MISKL, and their well-being is our priority. We are introducing a dedicated welfare program to support financially challenged educators:

🏠 Rent Allowance

  • Eligibility: Educators living $16\text{ km}$ or more away from the school.
  • Details: Assistance of up to $30\%$ of monthly rent.
  • Conditions: Requires proof of residence and a valid rental agreement.

🚌 Transport Allowance

  • Eligibility: Commuting educators traveling a distance of $16\text{ km}$ or more.
  • Details: Up to GH₵ 100 per month.
  • Conditions: Requires proof of residence and valid transport receipts or fuel documentation.

💼 Well-being & Emergency Loans

  • Eligibility: Staff with a minimum of two years of service, satisfactory performance reviews, and no documented conduct breaches under MISKL or ADMF standards.
  • Details: Personal and emergency loans up to GH₵ 5,000 at a low interest rate of $5\%$ per annum, with a flexible repayment term of up to 24 months.
